Child Friendly Bí Cineálta Policy

The Board of Management of Faughart Community National School has adopted this policy to prevent and address bullying behaviour on 10th June 2025.

This policy fully complies with the requirements of Bí Cineálta:
Procedures to Prevent and Address Bullying Behaviour for Primary and Post-Primary Schools (2024).

This policy replaces the Anti-Bullying Policy.

Anti-Bullying Policy 

• This Document outlines the school policy and procedures for the Anti-Bullying procedures for Faughart CNS.
• A review of our anti-bullying policy and procedures was completed by the teachers in November and December 2020 and ratified by the Board of Management at a meeting on 1st February 2022.
• The Board of Management completed its annual review of the anti-bullying policy on 20th June 2023 and look forward to implementing the action plan in line with the Cinéaltas Action Plan on Bullying and Implementation Plan.
• The Board of Management completed its annual review of the anti-bullying policy on 10th June 2025.
• This policy is now replaced by our Bí Cineálta Policy which was ratified on 10th June 2025.
