School Calendar
Our calendar for next year 25-26 is below to help you plan events, appointments and holidays throughout the year.
Our motto for attendance and punctuality in our school is “Every Lesson Counts”.
We must work in partnership to provide the best education for our children, and we believe that consistent attendance is necessary to facilitate the best education of your child.
Additional Closures 24/25
As outlined in Circular 39/23, Faughart CNS will be closed on Monday 27th November 2023 to facilitate teacher engagement off site with the new Primary Mathematics Curriculum.
Circular 55/2024 provides that schools avail of a half day school closure during the 2024/2025 school year. The half-day school closure is to allow all school staff to come together regarding the implementation of the Bí Cineálta policy which will come into effect at the beginning of the 25/26 school year. The date selected for 12pm closure is Friday 2nd May, which we hope will suit families leading into the May Bank Holiday weekend.
