There really was a 'little bit of magic' during our whole school performance of Sugar Plum this week!
A wonderful performance and a magical end to our first term in Faughart Community National School.
Lots of cross curriculur learning in room 3 this week designing and making electric quizzes on European Countries and their capitals.
The winter months can prove difficult for a number of animals as they search for food and shelter. So we decided to lend a helping hand to some of our feathered friends by making our very own bird feeders using plastic bottles, string and straws.
We also discovered our green fingers by planting tulips in small plastic pots. We've been watering our bulbs every day since with the hope that our flowers will bloom in early spring.
The whole school have come together for the preparations of Faughart CNS's first Christmas Play, Sugar Plum. We have enjoyed decorating the hall with Christmas Art and designing and making hats for the soldiers, teddies and robots in the play.
We've come together in between rehearsals to play whole school Kahoot quizzes on the theme of Christmas.
Finally we've had our dress rehearsal today and are ready for the big show tomorrow.
