February Awards

We started celebrating and awarding pupils for full attendance in February and we've lots to celebrate because our average % attendance so far this year is 94%! Our motto is "Every Lesson Counts!"

February was a short month with mid-term in the middle, but we'd still lots of awards!

Learning about Length

During the month we learned a lot about length. We were very active in our leaning by measuring all around the school area. We measured the basketball court, the hallway, the school hall and loads of different objects around our classroom. We found the perimeter of all of these area! It was great fun!

Fire Safety 2019

In January, Room 2 were very lucky to be visited by the local firemen of Dundalk to talk to us about fire safety and the danger about fire. We learned a lot during the visit like what we should do when we see a fire, who we should call when we see a fire and also the different ways a fire can be started and how we can prevent it. Big thanks to the firemen giving up their time to talk to us!

Mid-Term Cake Sale Success

The senior pupils in the school enjoyed selling all the cakes and buns that the parents donated for our mid-term cake sale.

It was a great success and a memorable way to finish school for the mid-term break.

Thank you to all the parents and pupils for baking the tasty treats, to the Parents' Association for organising the cake sale and to the senior pupils for their wonderful customer service.
