Morning Meeting

Get grooving with this morning warm up Go Noodle - Moose Fabio don't wear no socks.

On Tuesday and Thursday morning we engage in a few minutes of mindfulness, where we focus on breathing and stretching.

Utilise the 'fill' application in Five frame as a warm up or a tool when completing the worksheet. 

Junior infants worksheet:


 1. Find the 'Ways to make 5' worksheet.                        2.  Explain that the rectangle shape is a five 

                                                                                              frame, as it has five squares.

                                                                                              Count how many squares have counters 

                                                                                              and how many are empty. 



3. Draw counters into the empty squares

    and encourage your child to consider

    that 2 + 3 = 5.                                                                                                


Senior infants worksheet:


1. Find the 'How much?' worksheet.                       2. Draw dots over each coin or

                                                                                     count using your fingers 

                                                                                     e.g. two fingers on the left hand plus 1

Junior infants:

Listen to the jolly phonics song for /ou/ at 10:46 and practice the actions for the /ou/ sound by pretending your finger is a needle and pricking your thumb, saying "ou, ou, ouch!".

Lunch - Eat lunch and head outside for a run around




Colourful cones

- Paint or draw an ice cream cone at the bottom of a white page. 

- Cut two or three circles out of a piece of cardboard, foam sheet or styrofoam. 

- Print different scoops of ice cream using bright coloured paints or trace around a circular shape and colour in the scoops.
