Today's maths task involves creating a number obstacle course.
The criteria are as follows :
- Each course must feature 5 tasks or actions
- Junior Infants should incorporate numbers between 1 and 10.
- Senior Infants should incorporate numbers 1 and 15.
- The course can take place either indoors or outdoors.

Phonics

Junior infants :
We are revising the /ch/, /sh/ and /th/ sounds all this week.
Listen to the Jolly Phonics 42 sounds song from 9:42 to revise each of the three sounds and to practise their corresponding actions.
Junior infants worksheet:
1. Find the first 'Digraph-just dot it' 2. Encourage your child to consider whether
worksheet. the sound is missing from the start, middle
or end of the word.
Ask your child to name the item shown before
identifying the missing sound at the start,
middle or end.
3. Circle or dot the missing sound and
write it into the available space.

- Revise all the blue tricky words so far by playing a matching game.
Senior infants:

Junior infants:
- Begin reading The Dragon Balloon and revise it until Wednesday.
- Junior infants should read a minimum of three pages per day.
Senior infants group 1:
- Begin reading your first reader Paris Adventure and revise it throughout the week.
- Senior infants should read a minimum of five pages per day.
Senior infants group 2:
- Begin reading your first reader The Scarf and revise it until Wednesday
- Senior infants should read a minimum of five pages per day.
Lunch - Have your lunch and get some fresh air.
