Happy Friday everyone! Thank you so much for all your pictures and videos throughout this second week of learning from home!
Due to technical difficulties, I cannot post any pictures of worksheets today or indeed include any links to games so feel free to revisit websites and activities used previously.

Develop your number sense using this Underwater counting activity

Number 2 : Back and long like a swan.
Number 3 : Curl for you, curl for me.
Number 4 : Down, across and down once more.
Complete the next "Write" worksheet. Trace numbers 2, 3 and 4. Then colour in the two hedgehogs, three skunks and four foxes.

Complete the "Number - Counting - Combining" worksheet. Draw, count and colour the objects.

Practice identifying Beginning sounds in words
Junior infants worksheet :
1. Find the second beginning sounds worksheet (dog, yoyo and bed in first row)
2. Write in the beginning sounds for each picture.
3. If your child is struggling to form a letter, model it and provide a starting dot for them.
4. Colour the pictures.
Senior infants group 1 and group 2 worksheet
1. Complete the second "CCVC and CVCC" worksheet.
2. Identify each of the items circled.
3. Finish the sentence "I can see the ______ (wall)."
4. Write "I can see the ______" for every item.
Friday handwriting
Every Friday the children engage in structured writing activities. We have been focusing on the use of a full stop at the end of every sentence.
We use a pull and release motion similar to that of a gear stick change and say "Fulllllll stop!"
Junior infants writing
Sentence work - "He has a tie" and "We see a bee."
1. Highlight the sounds revised this week, 'ie' . 2. The children should read both sentences
and 'ee'. Identify any tricky words. and copy them into the available space.
Don't forget the full stop!
Senior infants dictation
Dictation week 2 - "We see a big bee", "The pie has flies" and "He has a green tie".
1. Find the parent/guardian dictation 2. Read each sentence aloud slowly and
page in work pack B. clearly to your child so they can write the
sentences on the adjoining worksheet.

Junior infants :
Revise your tricky words using Little bird spelling
- Select year 1
Senior infants :
Revise your tricky words using Look, cover, write, check
- Select year 1 or year 2
Lunch - Eat lunch and head outside for a run around
PE
Clear some space in the kitchen and let's get warm with this PE warm up and stretches.
If at all possible, get out for a jog, build an obstacle course or do a home workout!
